All the warm, but wetter weather has been great for growing hay in the Bella Coola Valley, but now we are past the time when we need to get a week of hot weather so it can all be cut. Once August 1st arrives, it seems the overnight dew arrives as well, and it gets that much harder to get it dry. It would be a nice crop if it can be cut in the next 10 days. Grizzly

We are having the same problem in the 100 Mile House area lots of hay this year if it would dry up so it could be cut. Lots has been flattened in the fields due to the weather so that may cause some problems , we have been having some dew at night with some mornings so cold that you wonder if there was a touch of frost before you got up.Hoping for a warm stretch soon so the hay can come off for everyone.Weird year, nice to see some much needed moisture after so many dry years as at least we aren't choking over smoke this year
