Hummingbirds

With the cool, sunless weather our summer resident population of Rufous Hummingbirds seem really appreciative of the hummingbird feeders but normally by now they have lost interest and are much happier with flower nectar.  We have a 'swarm' of up to 10 or 12 of them which crowd the feeder, especially as dusk approaches.  My daughter was lucky enough to have someone point out a tiny hummingbird nest with two hummingbird babies in it today.  It is fairly well camouflaged and hanging in a cedar branch nearly over the river and and about 5 cm across.  Grizzly
