With a couple warmer days after the prolonged cold spring, the snow in the mountains is finally starting to melt. The Bella Coola River changed colour and was up a bit this weekend. The photo is the tributary Nusatsum River which runs into the Bella Coola from the south and is the largest of the tributary streams. As you can see it was severally scoured and created a lot of new channels during last falls flood. Grizzly
