Cherry Blossoms

Even though it's been continuing cool and mostly damp, the cherry trees can't wait much longer to blossom.  While they like heat to get them flowering, the lengthening days are also driving them to flower.  Our trees started flowering Tuesday of this week.  Compared to last year nearly three weeks late.  Even at that this week has been so cool I haven't seen a honey bee or bumble bee anywhere so it's hard to know what if any kind of cherry crop we might have.  Normally the first week of July is when I would write that story, but we'll see this year.  Grizzly
