During the night, last night we had periods of rain which were on and off and some pretty steady - but the first glimpse of the mountains this morning confirmed that above 4000 or 4500' most of the precipitation is snow in the mountains around the Bella Coola Valley, so all good from a flood perspective. It didn't ever really clear up today, but there were periods in the afternoon that were pretty good. All in all an average November day. Caught a glimpse of this spider today on the road - anyone know what it is? Grizzly
Nice spider! It's a cross orb-weaver, Araneus diadematus. Here's one like it, on BugGuide.
