Thaw Continues
If you didn't know it was January 30th in the Bella Coola Valley you could be fooled into thinking it was mid March. The thaw that started 10 days ago has continued and the temperatures staying in the +3 and 4 C range in the day. In areas where the snow has mostly gone, the frost has gone out of the ground.

Yes, it is very mild in the Fraser Valley as well, with 10 degrees as a high forecast in the next few days.
ReplyDeleteAny idea if the bridges on the road up Nusatsum drainage towards Polar Bear Peak were rebuilt this year ? Great blog , more fishing pics !
ReplyDeleteIt was driveable to 16 km before the snow. The plan is to open it up this summer to the recreation site at Ape Lake Trailhead. Grizzly
