It wasn't a nice day in the Bella Coola Valley. Cold rain in the morning gave way to a high of 11 C, gusty afternoon winds, light rain, then more rain in the evening. We weren't alone in this province though by the looks of the weather summary tonight.
Make sure you check the www.drivebc.ca website if you are coming to Bella Coola in the next few weeks, the hill is closed except for two daily 1.5 hour openings while they work on some of the more 'interesting' sections of rock to improve the width. Grizzly

ReplyDeleteThe road closures were a bit of a surprise to my brother and I coming back from Bella Coola. But we managed and enjoyed once again a lovely drive over the mountain with fresh snow at the top on all the trees and bushes. I think the road gets better every year I drive it!
