Improvement
Today there was a big improvement in the Bella Coola Valley weather and I hope the rest of the coast. The day was mostly sunny and we hit a high of 14 C which isn't very high, but it felt pretty good after all the miserable cold days we have had. Hopefully a few more good days are in store for us. This unidentified spider was taking advantage of some sun as well today. Grizzly

Beautiful spider! And very interesting, too! I'm intrigued by the pits in the upper back; they are tying points for the internal anatomy, but I've never seen such deep ones.
